stubborn stains, you can dip in a small amount of detergent and other mild cleaning agent gently wipe, and then immediately rinse with water to avoid 

cleaning residue corrosion of the blade. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth to prevent moisture residue from rusting.

Antirust treatment

1. Oil: After drying, the blade can be coated with a special tool maintenance oil, such as mineral oil, anti-rust oil, etc. Use a clean soft cloth dipped in the 

appropriate amount of oil, evenly spread on the surface of the blade, so that the oil forms a protective film, insulation air and moisture. Like some high-quality 

outdoor knives, special tool protection wax can also be used, and its rust prevention effect is often very good.

2. Dry Storage: Place the well-oiled knife in a dry and well-ventilated place for storage, avoid placing it in a humid environment, such as the bathroom, 

kitchen pool edge and other places with a lot of water vapor must be avoided. You can choose a special storage sheath for the tool or place it on a dry tool 

holder.

3. Polish Regularly

After repeated use, the blade may become dull, requiring regular sharpening to maintain sharpness. You can use the whetstone for grinding, the rough 

whetstone is first used to repair the larger wear and notch on the blade, and then the fine whetstone is further polished to make the blade sharper and 

smoother. When grinding, pay attention to maintaining the appropriate Angle, the general outdoor knife blade Angle is about 20°-30°, and the operation

1. Coating Protective Agent: You can regularly (such as every few months) to the wood handle with some wood maintenance oil, such as tung oil, walnut oil 

and other natural oils, these oils can penetrate into the wood, enhance the moisture resistance of the wood, while keeping the wood handle a certain gloss, 

look more beautiful. Apply with a clean soft cloth dipped in a small amount of oil, along the direction of the wood grain evenly apply, wipe off excess oil, avoid 

oil accumulation to form oil spots.

2. Avoid Wet Environment: When storing knives, choose a dry environment to prevent the wood handle from mold and rot due to moisture. If the tool may be 

damp after outdoor use for a long time, it should be put in a ventilated dry place as soon as possible after coming back to dry, if necessary, you can use the 

low temperature range of the hair dryer to assist dry (maintain an appropriate distance to prevent the wood handle from burning).

3. Prevent Dry Cracking

When the environment is too dry, the wood handle may dry and crack. Therefore, try to keep the environmental humidity of the tool storage relatively stable, 

do not let it in a long time of high temperature dry environment. If the wood handle is found to be slightly dry and cracked, you can fill the crack with a small 

amount of wood glue, and then gently polish it flat, and then apply maintenance oil for protection.

1. Check Regularly

wooden handle is loose, cracking, etc., in order to find the problem in time and take corresponding maintenance or repair measures.

2. Avoid Bumping Into Hard Objects

preventing the blade from breaking, rolling and other damage, and avoiding the wooden handle being damaged and scratched to affect the appearance and 

use performance.

3. Use The Knife Sheath Correctly

The sheath can not only protect the blade, but also prevent accidental damage to the wooden handle when carried. When inserting the knife into the sheath 

after each use, it is necessary to ensure that the blade is completely entered into the sheath, avoid the blade being exposed to scratch the sheath or other 

items, and pay attention to the cleaning of the interior of the sheath, regularly clean up dust and other debris, and prevent it from causing wear to the blade 

and wooden handle.
