Basic survival equipment is the most basic, separate from the backpack to carry or not leave the body of the equipment.

utensils, communication tools and other materials), because the basic survival equipment is carried closely, it can provide 

the most basic survival guarantee, maintain life, waiting for rescue.

According to the specific categories of personal survival equipment, they are roughly:

Survival knife or hand axe

John Wiseman once said that a knife is an invaluable asset in a survival situation. An excellent survival knife is one of the 

most important survival tools in all survival equipment. In the extreme survival environment, it is not only a cutting tool, but 

also a multi-purpose tool that can help survivors complete firewood, build camps, hunt and feed, and defend their lives. An 

excellent survival knife roughly has four key factors: 1, strong structure; 2, reliable performance; 3, sharp and durable; 4, 

smooth control. I think a good survival knife should first be a straight knife with a full keel width and an integrated structure,

rather than a folding knife.

What tools have the cutting performance of a straight knife, and can cut down wood, make tools and protect your life, 

probably the hand axe can meet these conditions. The hand axe is different from the ordinary axe, first of all, its weight is 

light and portable, and the axe blade is sharp like a knife, and the flexible size of the control also gives it the nature of

as important for survival as a survival knife or hand axe. Any lighter in the harsh environment in the field, the working state 

can not be guaranteed. Waterproof matches, although stable, but its number is precious and limited. Flint is different, any 

flint can be used to spark iron to provide tinder, even if it is soaked in rain, as long as it is dried, it is absolutely stable in the 

harsh environment in the field, and can be reused tens of thousands of times.

Survival box

Survival box, is a group of a variety of tools to help survival needs of the small box, that is, can meet the need to support 

at least three days of survival equipment package, the United States Army to provide soldiers with a called "3D" equipment 

backpack, it can at least meet the military operations of soldiers, do not rely on the state of logistical supplement to maintain 

three days of supply.

Each person's survival focus is different, and the following items can be placed inside:

1. two condoms, it can be a elastic tourniquet, moisture-proof bag, water bag, it can also be a sling band, walking on the

Kettle and headlamp

Carry a U.S. Army water bottle with you. That can hold at least three days of drinking water. The kettle must be made of 

metal so that it can be heated on the fire. As for the headlamp, in fact, it does not have to be a headlamp, it can also be a 

pointer, energy bar, map and other equipment, but I prefer it to be a lighting tool, and it is a headlamp that can free your 

hands to do other work. Their position is hanging from the belt.
